Recently have had this shoulder pain. Thought it might have been the way I was sleeping... really wasn't sure what was happening... After about a week, I had a curious thought?!...
Could it be from playing "piano!?"
I Google'd;

-before I could finish typing, there it was.
{Now I take care, watch what I doing. How long am I in one position, stressing? -timing,.. angles.. taking breaks, moving arms, move shoulders.
Are they in same position?! Taking breaks, and stretching a lot. Breathing, take it easy,- RELAX. Argh.}
Had one other injury worth mentioning. Other instrument...
Pinched lat muscle! (Like a tooth ache in shoulder.) And very scary.
Loss of 50% power in that arm. Dr wanted to inject Cortisone.
Took about 6-7 Chiro's. (No Cortisone) Found the right one! Believe it or not, cheapest one to! Told me what was going on right away. Got me fixed in about 2 weeks. (signed up for 6! 4 weeks of rehab.)
Lot's of pain. And, could not play!!
Still see the same Chiropractor. Sports Chiropractor.
O.k. My shoulders 'were' - very sore.
Movement is coming back. Still some restriction, and achy, but much better.
Can almost, 'hang' with my hands, from chin up bar. Trying this every day to stretch things.
Shoulders were so sore, it hurt to raise them up to the bar!
Been going to the gym everyday. Stretching, and cardio are a big stress relief all the way around!
