Time in lessons

I have a simple question,
How long would be recommended to work on a lesson?

I know that it would depend on each persons capabilities, but what would be the "average" time to spend on a lesson?

From my experience, I noticed that I am spending around a month per lesson (practicing 1 - 2 hours a day)
