Your site is awesome I've gotten a lot better from your videos. I've been reading up on coltrane substitutions and tritone subs. My question is how do you reharmonize a piece to make it your own?

Thanks for your email. The best way I've found is by working through re-harms on many songs. After going through a few dozen songs, you start to get a better feel of what you can change and when.

Remember that sometimes just changing one chord in a song is enough to breathe new life into it.
