Hey Willie. Regarding the new pedaling video: do you/would you hold down the pedal, all the way through, when playing the quintuplets in Black Orpheus? Is it "standard" to hold down the pedal, when playing arpeggios, in general? Thanks, John

Pedal is very personal. I suggest to students to use their ears. If it sounds too "ringy" to your ears then you are using too much pedal. Some people like a lot of pedal, while others do not. Try recording yourself so you can be more objective while listening.
