Does anyone know of a good and EASY program to use to slow down CD's without changing pitch. I just bought the Guitar Trainer (even though I play piano) and it works easy enough but it seems to only slow down the music to half the speed. Any suggestions? Thanks

i bought "Transcribe" off the internet a few years ago. It works well and it will help you to transcribe chords and solos by displaying a graph of tones played > it won't transcribe into printed notes but it is helpful. You can slow down the piece as much as you want without changing keys.

Glad it worked out. It takes some getting used to, but it can be a powerful tool.

Another great program to use is Audacity, it's open source (free).

There's way too many features to document, here is a link:-

Thanks for the info on Audacity. I'm always looking for programs that will help me break down the chords in the songs I like. I've used SlowGold in the past it only converts true mp3 files to wav files, but it does slow the tempo of the wav files as slow as you want without changing the pitch.
