I just earned enough practice points to download an entire lesson, instead of a chapter a day, and I'm having a problem.

First of all when I download a chapter, it goes into RealPlayer SP, where I name and organize the video, and all is well.

When I picked the lesson for the download, it all worked fine, except that I can only access it through my bookmarks on Mozilla. The download (and all the other ones I've done since being a gold member) doesn't show on the
"Downloads" section of "My Account".

Then, on the page/bookmark where all the chapters for the lesson are listed, I was instructed to download a free "FLV" program. When I did that, for PC, the instructions are for XP, not for Vista, so I'm not having any luck.

Anyway, can't I just download the whole lesson to Real Player?

HELP!

If you click on the 'practise points balance' at the top right of most screens, you get back to the screen where you can download the lessons. It is separate from the daily downloads for Gold members.

I have downloaded one lesson. The files are flash videos, which can be played with VLC "http://www.videolan.org/vlc/" which is available for Vista, as well as XP, windows 7 etc.

Thanks! I'll give it a try. I was able to get the lesson downloaded with the FLV and have it open, but I had to do each chapter separately.

The video quality is not very good, compared to the downloads on my PC in Real Player SP so I hope the one you recommend has better graphics.

I didn't have a problem downloading on the points balance page so much, it was opening the downloads, which don't seem to go to be able to be opened in real player. It's not all that important now. I can watch the videos anytime on my Droid by opening the browser, or watch them on my PC, either on the site or in Real Player. I just want to make sure I have access to them down the road.

I've lost the audio files for the one of the Jazz Kids programs I purchased and downloaded, although I still have the printed material, and I don't want something like that to happen again.

Do we get access to any MIDI files or sheet music on the practice points lessons? I downloaded one outside of my current subscription level and it does not look like I have any way to access the files.

Now I'm having another problem with my daily chapter downloads.

Since I used the practice points when I got to 40, I no longer have a link at the top of each video to enable downloading daily chapters to my computer (I was putting them in real player).

I think emailing Willie directly is the only way to straighten the points issue. That system is new and there's not much written about it I think.

Yes, any technical issues should go right to pianohelp@jazzedge.com. The reason is that we do not check the forum daily. The support tickets we get 24 hours a day. Actually spannfann, we took care of this via the support system. I am posting this so that everyone else knows.

I will have some practice points updates this coming week. I have a surprise for all members.
