I print out my sheet music pdf files and keep them in a binder. I can read and used to mostly play from sheets (usually classical); using this site, I'm doing much much better just going off of what Willie teaches and not even needing the sheet music....still it's nice to have handy once I get to my piano (not near the computer).
What I'm hoping is that I can download the sheet music pdf to my computer, hook up my Nook -the ereader that supports pdfs- transfer those files to my Nook, and then actually use the music right from my Nook's screen.... has anybody experimented with this setup yet? If not, I guess I'll try it, and see, lol.... and if this works, I should be able to download sheet music off the public domain e-libraries that are out there as well....
Thanks!
Patrick

FYI, I was able to download sheet music to my Sony e-book reader, which also supports PDF. I worked well as long as the text size was set to Small. Medium and Large garbled some of the pages.

Kevin

I'm going to try this on my Kindle. Kindle can post PDF files and I'm thinking most e-books would, but I haven't heard of the brand you mention.

I do think that on my Kindle2, the screen is pretty small for being able to read the whole page, but Kindle has an option to increase text size.

They also have a new version which is bigger.

I'll post here if it works out well...
the Nook is an e-reader from Barnes & Noble... my family and I always do giftcards for them, so I cashed a bunch in when the price dropped. The new Nook is pretty cool and works for me- and if I can download Willie's PDFs to it along with my books, then Kelt is a happy camper! lol....

I have been able to downloaded the PDF files for this site onto my Kindle. It's a little tricky (have to first email it to myself, then do the download), but it works fine. Although the reading area is not big enough for comfortable reading, with Kindle there is a text enlarger, so it basically takes sections of the piece and makes them bigger.

I do think the Kindle's better than the Nook! :D
