I use a Yamaha S80 synthesizer for much of my playing. I like the sounds and the weighted key action.
However, the keys are slick. My standard piano uses key covers which are not nearly as slick, making "finger faults" rarer. In one lesson Willie complains that his keyboard, too, is slick.
In the old days real ivory provided a solution. But thankfully, those days of killing elephants for pianos are gone.
My question to our community: Is there anything which can be applied to the keys to provide more traction?
Guitarists have a product curiously called "Gorilla Snot," but that won't work for keyboards.
Any ideas?
