hi everyone,
i'm italian guy,so excuse me for my bad english, but i want explain a question.
I watch the lesson of warmup and improvvisation,i see that only using a major or a minor scale or arpeggio i can do a good improvvisation going up and down into a scale with both hand. The kind of sound that i can do remember me the sound of bach (goldberg variation). The question is:Bach composed in this way? What are the differences?how they do modulation?
would be an interesting lesson that explains very briefly the main differences in the way of playing the piano at various times ('600 '700 '800 '900) from Bach to blues.
What all have in common styles.
Perhaps it is too vast a subject, but I think it's very interesting to find a personal style.
I hope that I explained.
thanks willie and thanks google translator!

I am not qualified to answer your questions. However, I just wanted to compliment you on your willingness to tackle English, I know the feeling as I am in attempting the same with Spanish.

Well that would be quite an undertaking! Music has progressed kind f slowly over the years if you look at it in a "big picture". It takes sometimes decades to see change in harmony and melody. However you will notice a lot of similarities in harmony over the years. Bach would use arpeggiated chords just as we do today. Jazz and music from the 20th century helped to really add new harmonies to music like jazz.
