1) What program is Willie using with the Lesson Hanon Mastery?
2) Any suggestions for MIDI player (or, in general piano software) on Mac?

I recently discovered a piece of software that is incredible for listening to any piece of music at any speed, without changing the key of the piece. So if you have a fake sheet in a certain key, you can follow the music. (as well you can change to key to match your fake sheet key) The name of the software is Transcribe8. It will also allow you to listen to a few notes or bars over and over again (as a loop) to determine what notes are being played.
This is really good for playing along with the recorded piece at whatever speed you are comfortable with. Once you have your structure in place, you can increase the speed steps at a time until you are performing at pace!!
This software is quite reasonable in price and really good bang for the buck!

1. The name of the software is Home Concert Extreme. Search on google for this name and you will find the website that sells it. Mac-version only!

2. If you have a piano with MIDI out you can easily buy (70 bucks) a MIDI-USB
and if you have Home Concert Extreme you will have the perfect match.
