Hey Willie thanks for the new forum....I'll start.
I have a YPG-635 and a MacBook Pro. I am looking to add a small 4 channel mixer to my set up in order to view Willie's lessons and listen to my keyboard thru one set of headphones.
Does anyone have any experience with Behringer or Mackie brands or any other recommendations.

I have used Mackies and am very happy with them. In fact, I use a Mackie to record the lessons. Behringers are usually cheaper though, yet very popular. HEre is one: http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/product/Behringer-EURORACK-UB802-Mixer?sku=631238

I live in Japan and use Behringer here mainly because they are cheaper than usual for some reason. Mackie brands are much more expensive in Japan compared to the States, so for now I just use Behringer. They work fine for the practice studio.
One note about the Behringer is that many do not have an on/off switches which drive me crazy. They also can run hot. The Behringer Euroracks have on/off switches though. Mackies all have power on/off buttons if correct.

Finally bought a Behringer XENYX 802 from Amazon.com at a great price.
Now, any suggestions on resources for learning how to use a mixer other than just plugging my gear into it and turning it on?
