Willie,
In the "Blues n Boogie" lesson Disc 2 (DVD502) you explain the two types of Boogie bass (quarter vs. eighth). Obviously in the examples (which use the quarter note bass line) or when you add the shuffle licks there is a "swung" or triplet feel. When you demo the eighth note bass line it seems as though you play it with straight eighth-note feel. Is this correct? Is there a non-swing style of boogie-woogie which is faster or are you then swinging the sixteenths? Could you say a bit more on the differences between these two bass lines?
Thanks man,
Mark
