Hi Willie!
Just wanted to say first off how brilliant I think the site is. Previously I was a 'self taught' pianist, which basically meant that I would sit down at a piano for hours playing nice sounds but not really understanding what the heck was going on! Since I signed up for your e-lessons my playing and understanding has greatly improved. I've gone from being the slightly drunk fella playing at a party to having audiences and sing-alongs.
However, my Dad has just walked into my room after overhearing me play (he played when he was young) and asked me what the pedals should be used for. Of course I am aware of their role, but I find it difficult to use them to great effect due to a lack of education. It seems to be a science in itself and I was wondering if you were considering doing a lesson on how to effectively use the pedals. It seems to me that such a vital part of the piano experience should not be ignored.
Thanks again for all the hard work. :)
