How about a lesson showing how to play a melody along with a simple montuno for one of the classic salsa/son tunes. THe one that comes to mind is El Manisero, but there are other 2-3 cord songs out there. This would be really neat for me as I am not currently playing with anyone except a congero. Thanks,

Ann

Hi Willie

I really appreciate your classes ;) so I was wondering, how about some other latin styles? I am interested the most in cuban music, so it would be great if there was at least a brief introduction to styles such as Songo, Mozambique etc. I have 101 montunos by Rebeca Mauléon. It is a wonderful book. There is a brief explanation of these styles but I would like more :) And maybe some bachata?

Thank you anyway, your classes are very helpful and inspiring

Hello Willy, I would like to let you know that on Youtube there is a very nice jazz piano version of the song Yellow Days (Se te Olvida). You can find it if you search on Youtube under Jojo Jose " Yellow Days ". I would love to learn that song.
Thank you, domisol.
