Hi Willie,

I was wondering if there was any way to bump up the quality on those Funk MP3 files from Improv 2. I see they are at 64kbps. It would be great if they were at least at 128kbps or 192 even better. The reason why is that the hi-hats are really tinny and sound like they're being played under water ... laugh. Honestly, they tweak my ears a bit when playing along with them and have had to write my own which is probably better anyway. A midi file would be great too so that we can throw them into our workstations, but of course just an MP3 is awesome.

For now I'll just use one of my own drum machine grooves and add the bass part which isn't too difficult. I noticed on your other lessons you have the rate at 128kbps and they sound perfect. That's probably the magic number.

Thanks!

Jim

Just checked, they are both at 128k. Are you getting them form the lesson page? Also, make sure to delete your old files before dloading the new ones.

Hi Wilie,

I am getting the files from this link which is from the My Lesson Page if correct.

http://www.mylessonclub.com/members_fpl/index.php?dvd=FUNK-IMPROV2

The two files that are 64kbps are as follows:

PLAYALONG-drums_only-70bpm.mp3
PLAYALONG-e-minor-90bpm.mp3

I just downloaded them again today to a different location on my computer and they're still at 64kbps.

Thanks,

Jim

Sorry, I uploaded the new files to the GOLD area only. Should be fixed now.

Thanks Willie!

BTW, I'll be switching to Gold Membership in December when my current subscriptions run out.

Keep up the great work!
