I'm an experienced classical pianist, and now want to fulfill a lifetime dream of becoming a jazz pianist. Which lesson do you recommend I start with?

I suggest checking out DVD30, Improv in 30! or Jazz & Blues Made Easy

I've been taking classical for three years but would really like to be able to play in a band setting. Jam band music..alot of funk. I found out quickly that I can not just sit in and start playing along, lost with out music in front of me. Where is a good start for this goal? DVD's? Also...any Hammond info?
Thanks Dennis

Hey Dennis, I would suggest taking a look at the FunkPianoLessons.com lessons. Start with the Funk Improv series to get down some cool improv over groove based music. This will help you in the jam-band area.
